noise, never heard before
I have a 2001 explorer sport with 130,000 miles. Today my check engine light came on and I did not have a chance to get the code. I did notice that when I turned off the engine I heard a sound of air releasing or air escaping for about 5 seconds. I could not find the location but it is coming from under the hood. If anyone may know what this sound is please help me understand what it might be. I will get the codes tomorrow when auto parts store opens.

I pulled the code po171 and po174. I also found where the air was coming from. There was a hole in a hose(vacuum) i think. I am not sure the name of the hose but it is an elbow connector. I removed it and went to auto parts store, but they did not have it. I am using a heater hose(temporary) until I find out what part number this connector is. When I start the truck it acts as if it wants to stall at first then it idles normally. I noticed the hose will not hold the vacuum pressure.
