does anyone have an idea at per what is going one the truck has absolutly no power doesn't sound right almost kind of like some cylinders are not firing when i did a buzz test i heard all injectors firer a few did not sound as loud as others
when you do a buzz test does it do all at once then one bye one ? I counted 9 buzzes
if anyone has any ides of what direction to point me in or if require some more information please ask
Yes, there are 9 buzzes. The first buzz is all 8 injectors hard. Then 8 more buzzes, each with 1 injector hard and the remaining 7 injectors soft.
Edit: See post #6. Bank 2 is Drivers side, which is the valve cover harness to check instead of Passenger Side like I first suggested...(Oops)
Yes, the $0.50 mod will prevent the harnesses working loose.
Your symptoms indicate a loose harness under the valve cover as a prime suspect. It is free to check so that is why I was suggesting you look there first.
Hope this helps...
My error. Bank 2 is the drivers side on these engines.
I was using AE to trouble shoot an O2 sensor issue on my LT1 and bank 2 on that engine is the right side. I knew I would get myself confused one of these days....
