Running MAP on the compressor outlet side (pre-IC and piping) instead of the stock location on the passenger side intake plenum results in little to no additional lag due to the IC. I plumbed mine that way from the start after reading several accounts here of folks that moved their MAP tie in to the compressor side and observed much better performance after doing so. TJ, didn't you have a thread covering this exact topic a while back?

Yes I started that info around here (I didn't discover it though). Adding an IC does add lag (it has to, its extra volume to fill) but putting the MAP line at the compressor outlet allows the PCM to compensate for it by fueling faster than it would if the MAP line was in the stock location.

but also what i've noticed is that it looks like those pictures were taken right when the EGTs went up, and i know that with the EGT probe after the turbo it takes a second or 2 for it to increase, and it increases slowly.... but today on the track, at the traps i was only about 800-850... but i didn't really look over lol just glanced quickly
