I love the ride with my Donahoe Racing (now Icon Vehicle Dynamics) leaf springs. They are either a 10 or 11 leaf pack and ride like butter with Bilstein shocks. You'd save a lot of coin sticking with leaf springs as well.
I don't really offroad the truck but i do drive it to work and it can get pretty nasty back in the bush. I do put alot of miles in on log haul roads, oil company roads that can have some huge holes in them. I want to increase wheel travel, improve ride, while increasing ground clearance. I want the coil overs just because I think they are cool, no other reason. i will take a look at the Donahoe racing kit as I do work for my money like everybody else.
I sure do like the look of the full traction kit. I don't think $2500 is unreasonable. Now all I have to is stay in the bush for a while to get the cash to do this. i also have to sell the idea to my wife, we don't need a new house.
