August Deals????

Anyone have a clue what the new deals are going to be for the 08 150's they need to unload??? My dealer isn't saying if they are going to be better than they are now....it seems they would have to be. Not sure if I should press the issue now or wait a couple days....anyone??

I just saw a TV commercial for my "Northland Ford Dealers" advertising '08 F150's at about 33% off MSRP which includes employee pricing, cash back, dealer discounts, package discounts, FMCC discounts, etc. There are tons of incentives out there,it'll give you a headache trying to find the best combinations.

My dealer told me that at present you have the employee pricing, $2k back from Ford, $3K for trading in a F-150 on an '08, $1K for financing from Ford Credit, and $750 if you got that coupon in the mail. He said that if anything is added in August, they will take comething away. Possibly, remove the employee pricing and add in its place 0% for up to 72 months.

I'm sure the prices will get real attractive over the next few months. But if you plan to trade a truck in, bring along a jar of Vaseline! The great deal you think you're getting on the new truck will be wiped out by the ridiculously low trade-in allowance for trucks.
