203k and I have worked/hauled with this truck since I bought it new.....w/ 10k on it....yeah I have PMS but it only started after one of my kids graduated and I had a few more $$$ and a lot more time on my hands
WITH OUT A DOUBT Dp tuner was the most bang for the buck....tranny, 2 sets of rotors and pads....other misc stuff but all in all a great truck.
had synthetics in every thing since around 100k

wasnt taking it personal.... glad to see ya back...let me know how the install goes lol.... i want to do the PCM at the same time..but that means no DP for a few days. got to see what the funds let me do...
My primary emphasis is on longevity. I feel additional filtration gets me the best bang for my buck.
My next filter will be a hydraulic system filter (power steering and hydroboost). That should leave just brake fluid and differential oil unfiltered. Those I can change out every two years, anyway.
As I never tow "heavy", I don't need additional horsepower, so no tuner.
If I were going to add anything, it would be a 6-oh trans cooler.
Maintenance, maintenance, maintenance. Even if I'm just "tinkering" with it....
Just got home from work and found a BIG BOX on the porch with MBRP on it.
Opened it up and it looks like new ducting for the HVAC. LOL !
Got the trans cooler too !
Now I just need some time off for fun work instead of work work.
I realise the ww is for the turbo, just unsure of which (engine or turbo) life is extended.
Would it be wirth me ordering one (superchips with 'tow safe' mode installed), as I am about to replace the pedestal o-rings. Does it give any performance benefit?
BTW, why are you up so late/early?
If your turbo is surging, the WW helps the surge and extends the life of the turbo.
Talk to DP TUNER and you can forget the superchips.
I always use a diesel fuel additive. Change oil every 4,000 along with filter. Fuel filter every 12,000. New serpentine belt every 50,000. Rear end ,transfer, front end , change every 80,000 with synthetic. Antifreeze every 100,000 but add anticavitation additive every 50,000. Power steering fluid change every 1000,000 with synthetic. ADD A CHIP AND A FREEFLOW EXHAUST. Crawl undr truck once a week and inspect, Chek everything oil and other fluids once a week. Never let idle never wait for glow plugs, Wind the pi$$ out of it and NEVER lug.
I thought the WW gave lower boost than stock, and I assumed that lower boost #'s would mean higher EGT's
Mabye only at WOT?
it spools quicker...less heat to spin it...i guess up top..out of its range it would heat more...but in my 80E im still pegging 27 lb of boost red line hooked...from a dead stop mashing the go peddle ill get well over 100 MHP before i hit 1200 on EGT'S and she dont surge....
