What all is involved in removing the rear tank on a 95 f-250 diesel? Mine is rusted through and needs replaced

remove the spare tire. remove 4 bolts from the skid pan/tank pan then unhook 2 fuel lines (requires a special spring lock tool available at most parts stores) and one electrical connector.

hardest part is the fuel lines.

and depending on whether or not you have an OEM or aftermarket receiver hitch you may have to remove it. Mine's aftermarket and there's not enough room for the tank to drop between the sideplates.. Of course I didn't discover it till the tank was loose and wedged between the sides of the hitch.
