Chapter web page.
Hey guys, a few of the other chapters out there have their own web page. I kinda like the idea and FTE will provide the space if we want one.
I would like to have some ideas or thoughts on this and really need a volenteer to set it up as this post is about the extent of my puter knowledge lol.

Frankly, while it does sound cool, I think it would be a waste of time, resources and energy.
Why leave the FTE site while tending to FTE?
We can do all of that here in the Kansas chapter, can't we?

I think it should be full of pictures with blessed women washing our trucks, and buttered rolls from ryans. Maybe some flex pictures, and activity posting.

One suggestion... Dont do it like the Tenessee chapter and put it on Geocities, it makes it real annoying with the sidebar ads.
I would be willing to donate at least 10meg of space, and while im not an expert at making webpages, especially not an expert with cgi script and stuff, but I can do a pretty basic page with pics, links, and stuff like that.
One question... Is the chapter going to register a domain name? i.e. Kschapter.com or something like that?

As I understand it, if FTE provides the space they would like the general layout to resemble that of FTE's main page, just modified to be chapter specific. I will get some more details on this and let yall know.
What I would like to see is a KS chapter "home page". With a gallery, news, upcoming events and the like along with a link to the forums of course.

Ok, I have been talking with adrian alot about this and guess, what!! We already have space!! Seems we have had it for quite some time, I would assume it got put up around the last Fordtoberfest but I am not sure.

Apperently there have been quite a few chapters that have recieved space and not done anything with it. So, they would really like us to see us do something with it.

LOL, that's what I am doing, chad gave me a simple piece of advice (he sure does come in handy sometimes) and I am playing with front page now!! When I get something worth looking at I will get it up!!

Acctually I loved your idea Curtis, one of the best ones ideas I have heard in a long time.
However, when I mentioned to the wife we were going to have a bunch of hooters girls over to wash trucks so we can take pics............well...........let's just say things went downhill fast from there ROFL
