Abs Light

I replaced both front hubs on my 99 EB. Now the ABS light is on we have checked the connections then cleared the codes. Then its says the right side is bad, clear codes now it says both are bad Should I take the sensors off the old hubs? Or keep checking to new sensors. Any ideas?

It is possible one or both the sensors has an open circuit in the short harness from the sensor to the chassis harness. Can be difficult to find. IOM replace both sensors.

I'd also check the sensor air gaps on both sides.
The sensors should be close to the tone rings, yet not rubbing anything.

It's possible the rear diff sensor has gone bad, but that would be very coincidental since work has been done on the front.....

We have double checked both sensor connections and now we have only code for right ride showing. So the plan is to take one of the OEM ones off the old hub. These were the cheaper hubs so manybe the sensor wasnt the best quality or it was damaged in shipping (no box)
