Ive been looking at eagle alloy 028's and i was wondering if anyone here had them on their truck Eagle Alloy Wheels. what do you guys think of them? do you have any other suggestions?
I think those would look great Bob, one thing you might want to ask your dealer is how well the coating on those wheels holds up to deicing chemicals. I don't know what they use up in BC, but some of the stuff that WSDOT uses down here is terrible on aluminum. The diamond plate tool box on my truck looks dirty if I wash it or not, thanks to the chemicals on the roads here. Other than that, I think it will look good and post pics when you get those new wheels on....
I really want to replace my 20"Zinik wheels with some old school torq thrust rims. Those are a beautiful old style that fits our truck very nice. They come in sizes 15-20". Like the Mustang Bullit rims.
These are similar, from American Racing - AR236885 . I just got a set of 16X8's but I can't show how they look 'cause they're not on the truck yet. You can also get them in 15x8 with an inch more offset, although I can't think why you would want to. They are very solid, If I recall correctly, they are rated at 2200lb each wheel.
im looking for something more for a 2wd street truck. btw those ar wheels are nice but like i said im looking for somthing thats more suited to street tires
