Hey Jdecker nobody is guaranteed a victory or a defeat. Dont fear anyone when your pulling. Pull to win. Go out there an do your best. But go do it youll love it its a blast. An the main thing is have fun while your doing it. Fun an friends thats what its all about. I think kris would have to agree.
Well he is pretty well built for it Jeremy, he just seems to pick the sled up at the end of the track and carry it I have seen him do atleast 3 320+ pulls. Its very interesting to watch him pull, even with my 40% tires I think I'll give it a shot Jeremy.
I seen a stock 08 LMM 3500 Duramax dually pull 285 at last years pull in Knoxville the only other one was a Dodge flatbed dually that didn't do so hot.
Its right in my back yard, you think I am going to miss you guys? Still got a room booked for me . OH BTW Smokin was in the August Issue of Diesel Builder
The DHRA pull I went to last Saturday, I saw a lot of duallys there and they actually did pretty well. The truck that won the modified street truck was a dually...I hate to say it too, but it was a darn good looking Dodge. 2006, Black, Mega Cab, with a little lift and dual stacks...it looked good. I even saw a couple of the more modified (not the Pro Mods) trucks that were singles but had bolted duals to it for the pulls. Looked a little funny with no fender over that other tire.
Sled pulling is has many variables. It may sound strange, but you need some wheel speed, which means the tires will be spinning. I think a dually will do ok if it's got the power to turn all 6 tires and have decent wheel speed.

I would like to do that one day. My truck is so heavy with my fuel tank and tool box.
