I just read about it in the newest diesel world magazine, toward the back of the mag. I forget the name of the performance shop, but they make a hose with screw in adaptors that screw into the head to connect the new oil hose to. Advantage suppose to be quieter engine at idle and even out the pressure between the rails. Has anyone done this and your opinion? Looks like a fairly inexpessive, easy and beneficial mod, if it works. Thanks.
I havent done it, but those who have report a easier start, smoothed idle and running, some even say a small mpg bonus. most guys get the prefabbed, and they are $55.
i think he is talking about the system that does away with the current pess reg. on the filter housing and regulates the press coming out the back of the head w/ an adjustable pres regulator so that the optimal 70psi is maintained
