That is the business end of this mod joe. The quiter engine and smoother starts are a plus. The reason I did mine is for a supporting mod for the future sticks.
I agree but with the move and all... you know. Anyway she is wanting a 4Runner instead of the EX now. I hope to get her the rice burner and take over the EX then I can really go wild on my truck. I guess we will see what the future holds for us.
I had mine for about 6 months and had to remove it for a week or two when I damaged it R&R'in the turbo. What a difference. Just get used to it and then take it off for a time and you'll really notice it gone. Very worth the 30 bucks I spent on it!
How long have you had your Tymar HPX? Any issues with leaks? I want to do an HPX and I like the price of the Tymar unit, but if it has to be replaced frequently I'll just go with a solid tube.
