axle wrap

My truck has pretty soft springs on the front and with 44s it likes to destroy the bottom u-joint on the front driveshaft. I'm thinking I have quite a bit of axle wrap goin on. What do you guys think of this as a solution?

It would replace the plate on top of the spring pack. I would mess around with the length and angle so it would be effective in forward and reverse. Maybe put some rubber or poly bumpers at the back end so it wasn't noisy...

Let's have it

Well if I'm thinking about this properly, when going forward the pinion would twist down, which I think is causing the joint to bind

It's fine when at rest, I couldn't point it up too much though or my steering would suffer on the road

Track/ladder bar
Look at my topic a couple days back. I think it is a good one. Shows a good design, cheap, effective and can be applied to a front axle as well.

Why not just cut and turn the "c"s on the axle to better the pinion angle?
