Last fall I bought a front diff from a 76 to swap into my truck. The old drum brakes and a bad hub weren't doing anything for me anymore. Anyways the diff I bought needed a stub shaft and it turned out there were none around. About a week ago I saw another diff in the paper so I bought it and it turns out it is a 3.73 ratio and it has a factory locker!! I paid $300 cad for this and didn't need to buy a new gearset to swap to 3.73. I went for a little spin last night and everything is sweet!!!
I think I'm gonna like the 3.73s, I know already that I like the disk brakes and the locker. I just had to tell some more people....
