Texas ain't bad of a place at all. No state income tax in FL, just like there isn't any in Texas, but they nail you on sales & property tax. Everybody has to pay the piper one way or another...
Texas is a great place...The difference between income tax and state sales tax/property tax is that income tax is a disincentive to hard work and I can choose or not choose to pay sales tax (don't buy it) and property tax (don't own it).
Pa. is a comi state too, voted on casino,s and there up and running for 1 or 2 years and they said the tax revenue would help property and school taxes and it hasn't yet, what a crock.
I think if I were going anywhere else, it would be Texas.
THEY got their heads screwed on straight.
Pop
I'm with Pop on this. You can keep your #1 spot Jorge. I'll be happy down closer to the bottom of the list. Don't feel too bad. California had the high prices 20 some odd years ago when I was out there. It just hurts a little more now.
