hey guys i pulled a few dtc codes from my livedwire the other day. was wondering if someone could tell me what they mean i cant seem to find them anywhere. the codes are as follows: P006A, P1000, P132A, P2287, P0000. I know the P1000 and P0000 nothing but thats the order they came up so i included them. thanks for any help in advance.
P2287 Injector control pressure sensor circuit intermittant. Sounds like the ICP sensor signal is intermittant. Could be the sensor itself or the wiring. Your truck is a 04 F-250 but is it an early build or the late build?
If it is an early build that means the IPR and the ICP are both back under the turbo. The P2287 could just be a bad connector on the ICP. I would look for oil in the connector and check it.
09/17/04 would be a late build '04. ICP is on the passanger valve cover.
The odd thing is P006A only applies to early build trucks...
P006A (F-Super Duty/Excursion Early Build Only)
MAP - Mass or Volume Air Flow Correlation
Airflow value is greater than or less than the expected mass airflow based on RPM
P132A is not a valid DTC. P132B is a valid DTC, but also only applies to early build trucks and was common to see with P006A.
P132B (F-Super Duty/Excursion Early Build Only)
Turbocharger over/underboost condition
MAP sensor, VGT actuator, intake and exhaust leaks
Does the truck have any outstanding recalls on it? Does it have the latest calibration from Ford?
sorry missprint my build date is 9-17-03 not 04. as far as the recalls and calibration i dont know. the last time it was at the dealer was around last thanksgiving for headgaskets, both coolers, all injectors, icp senosor, waterpump, egr valve, and im sure a few other things i forgot. i know everything was up to date at that point.

Well since you were in late last year, everything should be pretty well up to date on your truck. You do not mention if you truck is having any running problems or not, but TSB 06-24-6 sorta stands out...
6.0L - BUILT ON OR BEFORE 9/29/2003 - DTCS P006A OR P132B - LACKS POWER, SURGE, OR FLUTTER AFTER FIELD SERVICE ACTION 06E17
I got the CEL ln the way home last night, used the XCal 2 to read it. It came up as P0401 EGR Flow Ins Det which is not on the list. I reset it and will see if it comes on again. I've been using the new Max Econ Tune from Matt for the last couple hundred miles, I'll be keeping an eye on it...
yes it does have run issues. the turbo seems to flutter at times under load. kinda a surge. some times its fine some not. i also only get about 19 pounds of boost at time others its normal 25-29 depend on tune. so i will have to get it to the dealer, hopefully next week.
