when i turn my head lights on the inside dash light indicator light for high beam is always on and when you switch from high beam to low beam it doesnt really do anything.and one light is a little tiny bit brighter than the one.dont know where to even start looking for promblem.
I should have been more specific when I wrote this but,I just got my computer to work.
Problem
When I turn my lights on in my 94 f-250,the high beam light indicator is always on, both on high beam or low beam.
When you switch back & forth from low to high beam it doesn't make any difference.
I think it might be the plug for the light itself.
I will start with that and then maybe the switch or vice versa.
Since you have a combination headlight/dimmer switch ,I'd say the switch is the problem.
Very rarely is it a Printed Ciruit for the cluster that is the problem.

The multi-function switch (turn signals/hazards/brights) CAN be disassembled if you're VERY careful to organize the springs & other parts as you pull it apart - it's screwed together, so you don't have to break anything.
But it's also common in junkyards - even some Nissans used it. You'll see some with the stalk bent differently, but they're electrically identical and will fit your column.
Seems like Ford sells them new for less than $30...
