Great info!
But why did you do the headers? Any reason in particular?
All right, let's call them exhaust manifolds. To get the heads out, you have to disconnect/remove them, I mean the 8 bolts/side. I did both sides in the same time, and the whole Y pipe, with the exhaust manifolds was just hanging in the air, I mean the heat-shield bolts were holding it. I didn't want to disconnect the manifolds from the Y pipe, my plan was to just bolt it back, but moving the whole thing together kind of in harmony was a real @#&%!
I was also thinking of doing my studs and gaskets but when the local shop diesel connection in joppa, md told me it was going to be around $4000.00 to do it I told him I had to save for that one.....still saving.... maybe next year or so I'll have enough? Looking on doing the big hoss bundle from banks unless anyone has some input on that banks product or something like it would be greatly appreciated

Look around here on FTE, mainly the 6.0 section for info on tuners and other performance mods like. From the years Ive been on here, Banks is "ok", but grossly overpriced......look around before spending your hard earned money is all im saying.
Maybe get a banks intercooler setup, but go with an SCT tuner. You'll find lots of info on the SCT and why its preferred in the 6.0L section. Really you could just get the tuner and save your cash on the intercooler setup.
