Tranny Problem?
I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to troubleshoot a problem I'm having. I have a 2001 Supercrew F-150(95,000 miles) with the 4.6L and automatic transmission. When parked and foot on the brake, shift to reverse then take foot off brake and apply gas it makes a loud popping sound. It only makes the noise initially, once going in reverse it doesn't make it any more. I don't recall it doing it in drive. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Bad universal joint maybe? Good luck!
