Cool Ultra Rims SUCK

I recently over the past couple of months have posted about my new rims and tires. I bought a set of Ultra Mammoth black rims and have been DISSAPOINTED!!!

The black paint on the "faux nuts" started turning to copper so I told the place where I bought them and Ultra sent me a brand new set of rims. Well guess what not only is the same Black fading to copper in less than 3 weeks, but one rim is completely out of round so much that the back driver side of my truck vibrates at anyting about 30 mph.

**After the second set of Ultra rims I decided to let the retailer swap them out for another brand of rims which after the came in and started to have them installed come to find they ordered me 6 lug instead of 8 lug.

Three sets of rims within 2 - 3 months and none are wortha ****.
ULTRA RIMS SUCK!

Decided last Friday to go to another shop and ordered 20" KMC XD Monsters. They come in this week so we'll see...

Ultra wheels are less expensive, so I guess you get what you paid for. On the other hand I had a set of Ultra aluminums on my '82 Toyota I used to have and they were great. The out of round wheel was probably caused by the shop when they shoved the tire on, probably used too much force with their tire machine.

Anybody have any thoughts on my new KMC XD Monsters about to come in? I hope I did a better job choosing rims this time.

I'm running KMC XD Badlands in chrome. So far I've been pretty happy with them. I had an issue with the center caps that they offered to resolve by sending me a new set of rims but the center cap issue got worked out. So my experience with them has been pretty good so far.

ULTRA RIMS

I hear you that sounds like a complete P-off, hah. Id feel the same But..
I'm a bit defensive of the Ultra wheels cause..|
I Owned a set of ULTRA Mako's 22" on my former Nissan Titan.
and I got loads of compliments. and they seemed to stand up
fine against general wear and tear and winter weather.
Now I recently baught a Newer 2009 F150. and Im buying the same
Set of Ultra rims again in 22, but with a larger tire. 325/50/22 Its gona look pretty sick.
on Black 09 F150 my old tires on the Titan were 305/45/22.
So these will be a larger tire. with a 3" lift in the front.
Its gona gain roughly 5 to 6" of over all hight for the truck.

any ques.. jus ask!

i have Procomp chrome plated alloys, and im super happy with the overall quality..

i dont wash them nearly as often as i should yet when i do get around to cleaning they still gleam like a new diamond..

given how little care i give these rims they really should be pitted/stained and have flaking chrome..

couldnt be happier i guess..these rims are idiot proof, hhhaha...
