So I saw a new Lariat F350 Dually FX4 on the lot today so I thought I'd take a gander at it. Very nice, and I decided to look underside a bit. I didn't see the 'skid plates' as far as the FX4 package describes. Are they located differently than single rear wheel versions? Also, the front control arms/torsion bars were massive, like the ones you see in aftermarket kits. Are those standard on all Super Dutys? Just never noticed them before, the only ones I've seen are the rod-style ones on the GM trucks.
Actually, when looking at pictures of F350 Duallys on ebay, I was pretty turned off by how long the truck looked, and how wimpy those rear fenders looked. But in person, they don't look too bad. They could definitely be improved, but I was actually pretty relieved to see how nice they fit together.
But yeah aside from the shocks and badging, what else does a dually get with FX4 package? No E-locker unfortunately
