floor jacks
has any one had experiance with either horbour freight or princess auto long frame 2 1/4 ton floor jacks, looking at both they seem almost identical thanks mike

Have bought stuff from harbor before is not bad quality, but it will be on the low end. Are you going to use a 2&1/4 on a f250 Diesel ? If so expect disapointment I went with an aluminum 2&1/4 and it is margenal at best used to have a 3 ton sears and it was so much better but too heavy.It works if you take up one side at a time but when you try to lift entire front end you can tell it is being pushed

21/4 ton jack
i picked the jack up this morning ,it is a little on the light side but it does lift my dakota and caravan , it has the foot pump and lifts a full 30" which is what i wanted. it also was only $ 150. i also have a old 3ton sears l bought in 78 or 79 that i payed around $250 a lot of cash when your a 2nd year apprentice{close to 1 months wages ) it still works good i have to top up the oil maybe 2xs a year but it like most jacks it only lifts about 20" anyway for the price it looks good to me and will probally be around as long as i am thanks for the reply mike
