electrical problem
Hi !
I have a bad problem with my charging system.
First my integral regulator burned.
So I changed the alternator and the wiring but every morning the battery is dead & I DON'T have a proper charge.
I checked everything I could think of for a short,but I couldn't find one.
So, could the alternator be bad?
I checked it with the testlight on the negative cable.
I pulled the wire off the alternator and the light went off.
91' F-250 4x4

electrical problem
Most parts stores will test alts free on or off the vehicle. Take it to a couple, and THEN to the one where you bought it. Don't tell any of them what you're doing - just ask them to test it & thank them when they're finished. When the supplier finishes his test, tell him the symptoms you're having & the results of the other stores' tests & see what he says.
