They do grow up to fast. It seems like yesterday Jaymi-Lyn was just a baby and to day I taught her this: My father works in a shipyard and cleans ashes. Now stick out your tongue and hold it with your fingers and say the same thing. Her mother was pizzed at me for that one!!!!

When Christopher was seven or so, we flew to a family reunion in Minnesota and rented a car to drive from MSP up to the old family farm, upstate.
At each bump in the road, the rental would rattle, and if I let go of the wheel it would drift to the right kinda hard. Each rattle I would mumble something like, "Oh well, it's only a rental".
He was at the turn-in counter with me when I told the clerk that the car probably could use a wheel alignment, after which he promptly uttered, "But it's only a rental car!"
My face got just a bit red when the clerk gave me that knowing look....
I was kinda' embarrassed back then, but I sure wish I had those days back.

Yes they do Pop. Case in point, my son. When he was about 5, we were at the checkout line in WalMart. Out of the blue he tells the cashier "My dad doesn't wear underwear". A precious moment for sure. Everyone in line appreciated that information too.
Well, my commando days are over now, and he is bigger than I am. I can still whoop him though. He is soft and has a lot to learn.
