I feel the need for speed!
this talk of old cars and the pix you posted brings this to mind
it's cool because we're getting to know each other a little more then we normally would.....not just the "truck side" of us.

Dan, Susan says thank you for welcoming her to FTE. I've been telling her that she should get her own account. After she spent a little time on her last night she now knows what a cool place this is. She likes you guys!
Welcome Susan!

The usual behaviour on internet forums is to maintain some sort on anonimity. Never showing who you are or giving your real name.
Here is the exact opposite. We give our names, where we live.
A very high degree of trust is extended to each member of the "clan" to the point of being next door neighbors and good friends at the same time.
I am glad to be a part of this, we can go to just about every state in the union and have someone we can call friend.
This is so true. Thanks FTE for making the world a smaller place.

You can call up just about any old album you can think of and play it.
Cost is VERY reasonable at around $33.00 every three months and it uses any broadband connection 256k dsl and faster.
Right now I am listening to Randy Travis's new album: "Around the bend".
that thing is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet Scott....he did a fantastic job on that...
Scotts Pop got skills! Word.
For all you late night drinkers from last night the gatorade is on the bottom shelf of the fridge, and the tylenol is in the medicine cabinet.
Me? Well last night I think I ate some bad pasta salad at a CiCi's pizza buffet, and had a touch of food poisoning last night..... After dinner my family and I went to Target to get some school supplies for the girls, and I was literally leaning on the buggy about 1/2 way though the store, ended up going back out to the parking lot and sitting in the wifes Expedition (after a stop by the restroom) while the girls finished up their supply lists. came home and was in bed by 9pm last night, but did not sleep due to the many trips I had to make to the bathroom. Woke up about 6am after a couple of hrs sleep, had a shower, and feel much better now. Dont really want to eat anything, but diet pepsi is my friend .
Glad to hear that you feel better Brandon. That happened to me last summer, some bad cacoila at a Portuguese feast. I drank a ton of water to flush out my system. This was my grandmothers "secret" remedy!
Man Brandon, been through that to, darn mexican burrito lunch truck out in Yuba City, Cali. Needless to say, no more lunch trucks for me,lol. Hope you feel better....
LMAO! It is becoming a soap ain't it! "As the smoke blows"

Beautiful car Scott.
Have your parents followed you out to Texas?
Thanks, Dan. I will send him a link to this thread. He will appreciate all of the compliments.
No, they haven't moved to Texas. I keep trying to get them to but no luck yet. They are in Vallejo, CA. Not sure excatly how we will do this next Mustang together except for me machining parts and shipping them to him. I machined a few parts on the LaSalle. Still, nothing like the skills that he has.

I am open M-F 8:00am to 6:00pm.
I do work on saturdays, but not offically open. That day is reserved for personal projects, hauling trash to the dump, and the occational catch-up on a big job that didn't get finished by Friday night.
Not to mention doing PM Vdub repairs nearly 24/7, thanx again Dan!!
Brandon - get yourself some regular Coke, open it up and let it go flat. Chill it in the fridge if you like, but it will settle your stomach. Or if you prefer, just go to your local pharmacy and pickup a small bottle of Coke syrup. CVS used to sell it in gallon jugs....
Scott - those cars are just too call and Susana is STUNNING!!! (it better be too, if he named it after your wife!!) I wish you & yours the best in everything! Enjoy the birthday/wedding BBQ!! Be careful though... with the pics you've posted, if you let any of us come by your place, you may just get kidnapped and put to work in our locale!!

You're welcome.

Today I was getting ready to pull the trailer out of the backyard to prepare it for use next weekend with a family gathering.
I get the truck all hitched up and try to lift the jacks and discover that one of the screws inside the jack is stripped out and the jack won't lift.
So now I have it removed from the trailer and I am going to head up to the RV dealer where I bought it and see if I cannot get them to warrenty the thing. Trailer is only 5 years old!
