Saturday morning, 5:37.
Been up for an hour now.
I beat the chickens out of bed every morning.
no matter what time i go to sleep or what i did the nght before..im up and awake drinking coffee by 4 AM..man does the G/F hate that..i cant help it..been doing this for many years...
It is an interesting thing that is happening here on FTE.
The usual behaviour on internet forums is to maintain some sort on anonimity. Never showing who you are or giving your real name.
Here is the exact opposite. We give our names, where we live.
A very high degree of trust is extended to each member of the "clan" to the point of being next door neighbors and good friends at the same time.
I am glad to be a part of this, we can go to just about every state in the union and have someone we can call friend.
I am open M-F 8:00am to 6:00pm.
I do work on saturdays, but not offically open. That day is reserved for personal projects, hauling trash to the dump, and the occational catch-up on a big job that didn't get finished by Friday night.

Same here. MANY is the night that I wake up at 1:30am with only 3 hours sleep.
Wide awake, alert, ready for the day, but the day is not here yet!
Then at 5:00am, I get tired again and go back to sleep for a couple of hours.
If I manage to get a full nights sleep, then I'm up at around 4:30.
The flip side to that is that I am useless after 10:00 pm.

I am on call every third weekend and do work on Saturdays when we have a big project at work. At least, most of my weekends are free to "my thing".
Dan, Susan says thank you for welcoming her to FTE. I've been telling her that she should get her own account. After she spent a little time on her last night she now knows what a cool place this is. She likes you guys!
Anybody use that?
I've been using it for about three years now and still like it.
You can call up just about any old album you can think of and play it.
Cost is VERY reasonable at around $33.00 every three months and it uses any broadband connection 256k dsl and faster.
Right now I am listening to Randy Travis's new album: "Around the bend".
I missed most of this last night. Scott, tell Susan I said Welcome to FTE, and get her an account here. I am at work right now, but at noon I close shop and get on the tractor.
Been meaning to show you guys my Dad's latest project. He likes to restore old cars. He's done a 1953 Ford F-100 that the Ford dealer where he lives uses as a display model next to a brand new F-250 and also a 1923 Ford Model T that is immaculate. He has also done various years of Mustangs, an old Austin Healey and a 1953 Triumph TR3.
Anyway, his latest project is a 1938 LaSalle. Here is the before:
And here it is now. Oh, he named it after Susan. He calls the car Susana. Check this out:
You can see his PSD in the background of this one:

Cool looking car. I love the old classics. I would like to restore old muscle cars when, and "if", I ever retire.
My Dad and I were just talking about doing another Mustang together. This time muscled out and ready to go. We're currently keeping our eyes open for a 1965 model. I sued to have one back in high school that was fast, fast, fast.
