My driver's side door window makes an annoying amount of "squeaky" noise when opened or closed. It seems to be worse in hotter weather. My passenger side has done this too, but not presently. I tried spraying a dry lube down the tracks to no avail. The dealer has said in the past that there was nothing really they could do. Anybody else have this problem and a good solution (short of leaving it up or down, louder radio, etc.)?
I had the same problem with my window.
What I did was to take the door panel off and lubercated the pulleys and cables there are 4 of them one on each corner of the tracks.
I used a cable lude that I use on my motorcycles.
Spray it on the cables and run them up and down to get the lube in to the cables.
It worked for me.
mine did the same thing for about a month and just last week i went to roll it down and i heard a pop, then the window would not go back up. The regulator went on it and had to have the motor and regulator replaced. 110.00 dollar fix.
