223 harmonic balancer
Hello all,
I am looking for a harmonic balancer for my '58 F100 223. I havn't had much luck with the usual parts sources. I would take new or used in good shape. Does anyone have one or a good source. The one I have is a single pulley with the following numbers stamped on it: 6316A EBP the other side is 125734 SCCO. Also the timing chain and gear.

Sorry, I don't have either but here are a couple of ideas for sources.
Harmonic balancers are available rebuilt, look around the internet. Here's one source:
Damper Doctor Online: Ford
The timing chain and gears are the same as the Y-block V-8, I've even seen the double roller type from Summit Racing.
If you're looking for stock, always try NAPA. A local store might not have them in stock but probably can order from the warehouse.

Don't be afraid to look around, there are lots of other damper rebuilders. I only sent you the first one I found in my bookmarks. There are others on the internet and look in Hemmings too. You might also try the local junkyards and pull-a-parts. With the price of scrap so high a lot of vehicles are coming through that you don't normally see. If I had a good used one, I'd be glad to share.
