No...i cant remember how much the steel cost, i had it laying around for a couple of years now. Basically it was $42 for the receiver, (2) 20,000lb d-rings, and grade 8 hardware. If and when i do it again, I will make the receiver. I think it was $17 or something like that, not nearly worth it, for being a square tube with a hole drilled in it.

that's what i figured wasn't sure though. Looks plenty beef and will look nice with the liner

FYI- be careful of the material you use if you build the reciever for your rear bumper. The tube is not a standard size and the stuff that seems right will be sloppy. We built one for my truck before and the hitch moved around and eventually made the pin hole oblong--->annoying when towing
Well i got impatient and went out and bought some duplicolor bed liner.
I applied 3 coats(1 can). If it dont work i will go with herculiner and would have only lost $8 for the can. Also bought an extra can so i might go over it again.
FYI the Duplicolor spray-on bedliner is total crap (if you're referring to the stuff in the spray can).
I bought some of that last winter because I thought it might make a good, tough finish for the intercooler pipes on my 'bird. That stuff doesn't hold up to anything, you can scratch it with your fingernail.
