Sorry it took so long to start the new one. Been having some family issues the last few days and it's been a little hectic here. The good news is that once I got my lawyer and the cops involved they were able to resolve the situation to my satisfaction.
I hate crooked small town cops. Thank God the county mounties take their jobs seriously....
Oh, and Mark....Thanks for keep the club topics in the club on the last one. I appreciate it.
Also, linear amps are not legal in most states, but people run them anyways. Just getting the radio peaked and tuned with a good antenna will reach out and touch someone without killing anybody.
FROM SHELBY COUNTY TODAY:
At approximately 3 PM, Tuesday, July 2, a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500, pulling
a new travel trailer, hit the corner of the Texas State Bank Drive-In
on Tenaha Street, causing the complete awning to come to the ground.
Luckily, the driver of the Dodge, Mickey Miller, of Garrison and his
10 year old son were able to exit their vehicle uninjured.
According to Miller he was circling the bank to park on the other side
when the corner of his travel trailer caught the corner of the bank
awning. Next thing he heard was a rumble as the awning started falling
against his driver's side door. Somehow he was able to unbuckle the
seat beat and exit the other side of his truck as it was falling.
Mark Ivy of Texas State Bank stated that the main lobby would be open
for business while the drive-in is being repaired.
Speaking of videos..............
I just discovered a freeware program that uses a web cam to take a picture at intervals you specify, then when you are done, combines all the stills into a movie.
This one was taken at one shot every 60 seconds, then recombined into a movie at 60 frames per second.
The whole day goes by in about 10 seconds. Kind of fun to watch. 60fps.mp4 videos from friends & fun videos on webshots

That is cool, Dan. Might have to use that on our truck video project.
That's better than priceless, especially if you drive a big RV, The worse I've done is I once tore my automatic steps off in Mesa Arizona on some landscaping railroad ties. Pissed me off big time.

If you owned a Dodge would you have a sense of humor? We already know you have no sense of smarts.
All kidding aside, that looks like everyone was lucky there wasn't anyone in the back seat. Like a child.
If you look at the still shots from Scott's second link the truck didn't take as bad a beating as it looks like in the video. (I did like one of the comments posted after the news story "That will buff right out")
I was thinking how lucky it was that no one was using the drive-thru at the time. Imagine if a little honda or something was under that when it came down.
