Been working on it off and on today. We got it all apart as far as were going with it, we got the front pump out, filter, valve body, reverse and forward clutches. We replaced the clutches in both the forward and reverse, the old were not in bad condition.

The intermediate band was gone hardly anything left on it. Lots of black stuff.

A question I had was that the input shaft has a ridge on it, kind of looks like it is suppose to be there but I have my doubts on the ridge. I will go take a picture.

IF I dont replace the input shaft it should be ready to go back together with the new parts.

I think the hardest part will be to install the shift kit.

This really wasn't all that bad as I thought it was going to be. Well we had a couple of us working on us and my grandpa who use to be a diesel mechanic years ago gave advice.

It's pretty easy taking things apart and putting them back together.... now making them work afterwards........well.....

Alright here are some pictures of the progress.

This is what I was talking about a ridge in the input shaft, I did some searching on new input shafts and there expensive, but from the pictures they show this groove I was talking about

Here is the Valve body, looks in good condition to me.

Here is the forward and reverse clutches, The forward took 4 clutches and reverse took 3 clutches, I still have a whole lot left of the clutches so if Anyone needs any let me know.

All the bolts and little pieces are in sandwiches baggies and are marked so things dont get crazy trying to find the right bolts.

I bought nine cans of this stuff, was told it was a must for inside to clean up, works well to, Also good for locating cuts on your hands to..HAHA

I hope by 2 weeks to have it all back into the truck, and hopes it works better.

Still got to buy a new front pump, even though I dont believe the current one is bad but rather be safe then sorry.

I will keep everyone updated on things.
