I don't know of any rock sliders that are hooked to the frame, for a early bronco. I think you would have to make your own frame conectors with any slider you get.
yeah, i saw a couple of homemade ones that tied into the frame, and couldn't find any that you could buy that did, so i just thought maybe you guys knew of one that i haven't seen yet.
If you are wanting them strong enough to pull from, you're going to have to cut out your existing rocker panels and tie some 4x4 square tubing to the frame.
I'm not sure why you would want a pull point from there. It could be engineered to do so pretty easily, but there would be a lot of extra iron (weight). There would be a lot more stress on the frame and whatever you are attached to from a sideways pull like this because of the resistance to skid the tires. Even though the frame is completely boxed, there are no crossmembers at the point where your sliders would be attached. If you were to pull your Bronco from this point, it will attempt to pulll the frame rails apart. At minimum, this will cause the axle alignment to be out. Worst case in the long run, it will eventually fatigue and break the frame. Pulling from the front or rear uses the strength of the entire frame, not just a section.
If you are concerned that attaching rock sliders or tube to the body won't be strong enough to protect the body, no worries. I've seen plenty of them resting the entire weight on one side without any damage. I personally like the tube for the ultimate strength but some aren't willing to cut up the body to install them. And the square tube doesn't match the original rockers contour, although with a little body work, they can be made to look pretty close.
