edge timing issue

edge timing issue
I have a 00 f150 5.4 with the edge evo i have it on level 2 and when i go to the custom tune it wont let me go past 1.0 with the timing if i put it on 1.5 it runs really rough is this normal for all 5.4's?

well i had mine to 1.5 and didn't notice anything, your probably pinging the engine if your running 87 octane.... when i had mine at 1.5 advanced i was running 89 as usual. so i had some room to go.
