trans computer install
i finnaly found a trans comp to put in my truck,got a good price too 72.60$ came with a warrantee and everything. and since its 90 outside i think i'll wait for a little while to put it in. whats the best way to pull out the old one and put in the new one? and i going to be able to do it from behind the computer from inside the cab or is it all at the front under the plastic cover?

if its a 91 model
you have to remove and install from under the hood
first remove the connector bolt 10mm head
then remove the two retainer flange nuts 7/16 heads
remove the retainer
then remove a couple of the screws from the plastic inner fender panel around teh area of the processor use a long screwdriver and a rag between the fender and the inner fender and gently pry down the plastic inner fender to allow enough room to remove and replace the processor
