We have a 2000 Explorer EB with automatic temperature control. The blower works great on high but thats all. The temperature controller works fine. After searching this forum, it appears that I should replace the blower resistor module but I could not find anything definitive about its location for this specific model. I would greatly appreciate any advice on its location and specifics on how to get to it.

look under the dash at the ac unit and you should see some electrical connections. Once you purchase the module you need you will be able to identify it.
lay on the passenger side front floor and look up under the glove box. look for the black air duct (heater duct). look for a 4 or 5 pin electrical plug. remove the plug, then the resistor block is screwed to the air duct with a small screw. air flow keeps the resistors cool.
I am having the same problem. Looking at autopartsgiant.com, there are three different resistor models for my 2000 Sport. Any suggestions on how to figure out which one I need?
jasongt06 and firepop5, I greatly appreciate your posts. Unfortunately, I could not find the resistor module after purchasing the replacement part. I saw a wire connector to a small box attached to the blower unit under the hood. I did a search on the part # (XL2H-19E624-AB) and found these 2 threads;
