its a 2006 suzuki hayabusa, hypersport motorcycle. its been my dream bike forever, and this one only has 400 miles on it. its so much fun dealing with the borders though (read sarcasm). they seem to want to make things as complicated as possible. its my first time importing something like this, but no one at the border crossings will help make my life easier by giving me lots of information to ensure it goes smoothly.
wuss... use a manual nailer which requires 3-4 smacks...do 6-700 sqft in a day...then you might know what sore is
Yeah I used to use those, they suck!! You interested in a cheaper automatic air one? (the kind where ya just have to smack it once) I bought it to do the flooring in here, and now that its done I dont really need it.
Also sherm, I belong to a forum advriders, and if you head to the canadian forum, they have a sticky thread on how to make things a little easier, by having everything all liked up before ya get to the border. Things like you have to get your paperwork to the crossing three days in advance and crap like that. If you dont mind, I would like to hear the process you went through to get it here, and how much of a pain it was, I have been eyeing up a honda xr600, and a honda xr650l down there, they are cheap down there!
Why are you headed south to get one though? You seemed to always be against that, you musta got one hell of a deal...?

actually the multi-hit ones are better than the one smack. the boards tighten up way more that way than the "new" way. i've got both, and the auto/one hit one i have is an expensive one, so i'll pass on the cheapy one. thanks tho.
it isn't a smoking deal, but its a decent deal. basically there isn't anything local to buy of that type of bike, and everything else within decent driving distance has too many kms, or too high a price. this is a decent deal for the year of bike, but its the low, low miles that hooked me. its basically brand new.
its snowing, just wet, nothing sticking, no accumulation.
steve, if i didn't have to register the bike to enjoy it, i might think about being sneaky... in my experience, honesty is often the better way to go...
