My truck read that it was plus 35 out at jackfish lake today, TOO HOT!

Oddly enough the water was very freezing cold, too cold to swim in.

thats the way it is here. it could be 100* out and the lakes on rivers would by cold still.

Chipping is my strength I can count on my 7 iron or my chipping wedge to save me from my inconsistint drives....but then i usually blow it again on the green. I did just start golfing this last summer.

i just started seriously golfing this summer too. i played a couple times before, but never with the intent of it as a past time. i really enjoy it now though. i have my driver worked down to 80% good drives. my 3 wood works real well, but my long irons need some work. i'm going to pick up a 5 wood and maybe 7 wood this winter in hopes to deal with the long iron deficiency... my 9 iron, pitching and sand wedges work well, and my putting is usually bang on.

next time i'm in s'toon, we'll have a round...

I'm now playing a round or 2 a week.
I'm good with the 1 wood can constantly hit 200 straight"ish" maybe wobble a few higher, but my lighter woods are not near as consisant. One club I started to have luck with was a 5 Hybrid.
ya I'm pretty much always up for a game I prefer shooting par 4s and 5s not a big fan of the par 3s.
