He made it there. 12:30 am my cell rings, it's Jordan. A parents worst nightmare. That call in the middle of the night. He accidentally pocket dialed us. He's coming home Saturday morning. His baseball playoff's start at noon.

A group of us were going to go to Elliston park for the fireworks, but between the medicinal potheads and guys swapping spit with each other we decided that the kids would get a better fireworks show if we just gather the lawn chairs and set up in the Sobey's parking lot.

I had a busy day with rental and home renos, an evening Bobcat job and now I can my own little projects the rest of this weekend.
When it looks like an accomplishment that`s good enough for me Perry.
No thunderstorms or hail in my area John, all is calm.
A good thing that call in the middle of the night was only pocket Grant, still that`s enough to get your pulse racing.

What I like is that I can leave everything prepped for paint so that Siggurd can finish it off. The only thing things that need to be done 100% are the things Siggurd cant finish off with paint or sealer.
My yard is a basic rebuild on one side of the yard and the joint property line, to bad none of it can be done with a bobcat.

The older I get the more I like basic....why complicate things.

I bought a 20hp Kubota to do my yard work/landscaping after I moved my house in and sure has made jobs easier. The front end loader is worth it's weight in gold. I am also the favorite neighbor on the block. :-)

I have a dear john (what i call it for fun) backhoe....not sure what hp its rated at. Maybe around 90 or 100 hp is a guess but I actually forget.
We use it a lot that i do know.

Happy Canada Day mornin'all. My brother has a Cat299 track steer that I bring home time to time. My neighbour also has a nice Kubota loader, and is always willing to play with it. I like using my brother's machine. It's works good with the tracks. I can move top soil to the far end of the yard, and do minimal damage to the grass. Our municipality puts on a great fireworks display right across the highway in front of my house. Just sit in the driveway and watch. Best seats in the house. have a great day guy's.
