No rain here today but it`s already so wet I doubt I`ll ever get the last big landscaping job of the yr done, instead of moving dirt it`ll be more like moving mud.
Not many will remember that 01 F250 Super Crew Gerry, I think I only posted it once or twice a while back.
Happy hump day back at back at you Grant.
Your cornering too fast and knocking out those front strut bearings Sherm.
Our power is going out about once a week latterly, I missed the Blue Jays big win and supper was really late tonight. It`s been really good till late this summer into fall and now it`s getting a bit annoying. Still I`d sooner they do these repairs now before winter sets in.
Great win for the Jays............ Sherm did you trade it in???/
sounds like a mess out there M, thx for the ole truck info
new members truck
My first post...got this girl a couple of months back. 1990 F800 with a 6.6L Brazilian diesel, 5sp with 2sp rear axle, GVWR of 33K and 125K on the odometer. Second gear was bad so I only paid $4000 and sunk $1,100 into a remanufactured transmission. I've done most of the fluids, some minor wiring fixes, a couple of lights, and removed all the logos/etc. It's mostly a site truck, but I'll be bringing some material in from the local area (5-10mi) so I didn't want to spend a boatload. So far, so good!
Evening everyone. Been a busy last couple weeks for me. Will be busy till Monday.
Nice looking rig Gerry!
Sherwin, post up some pics of your new F150! We just had almost $2500 in warranty work done on our Explorer but it's 4 years old with almost 90k on it. So glad I bought the extended warrany, it's almost paid for itself.
I just traded in my diesel for this 2014 F150 XLT XTR with a 5.0
Morning Fellas. Randy, it seems that as nice as these explorers are, they aren't suited for rural life. We were told to look forward to doing the front end every 20k. I'm not ok with that, even with warranty.
Here's mama's new whip. It is truly hers, as it replaces the explorer. I still have my '90 F250, and the '10 F150 work truck...
I'll get some better pics in daylight.
Randy, that is a beautiful color. Our dealer had one sitting here for nearly 18 months in that color, ended up blowing it out at a crazy discount. For some reason no one wanted it due to the colors inside and out, and the weird combination of options it had. I also went with the 5.0 this time instead of the Ecoboost...
Not gonna lie, I like your truck better Sherwin lol. Wanna trade??
I don't mind the green but it's not my first choice. When trying to find a crew cab with a 6.5' box though your options are usually quite limited.
As for doing the front end every 20k on the Explorers, we have put a little over 20k on ours since we picked it up and the work we had done had noting to do with the front end. And also looking at the oasis report on our Explorer, it has never had any front end work done (that has been reported at least). Either way I'm sure your wife will love that new F150.
