Morning boys. Light frost with a threat of rain today. The weekend looks like its supposed to be a beaut tho. 23 above for Saturday.
Might have acquired another storage building for the farm. The owner of the local Ford dealer has a steel arch rib quanset on their old dealer property. I had asked him about it back when they moved into their new location but they were still using it for storing parts. Drove by it yesterday and it sparked a reminder to ask again if it was still being used. He wants to get together on Saturday and make a deal I think its 20x32 or something, maybe not even that big, but in excellent shape and would make another great cold storage building if I can get it for the right price.
Happy Hump Day mornin'all. Threat of rain here also for today. Sherm, with all that Ford equipment you have, he should give you a great deal. Is it going to be a turd to take apart? Have a great day guy's.
Hi Sherm, Gerry, John, Grant, Colin, Aaron and all who lurk here.
I`m really looking forward to a great weekend, might be one of the last few chances to get some of my summer toys out before winter.
Spent the day at an auction sale and then took my daughter to volleyball. The auction was boring but the pie was good. The girls lost all their games but are improving every game. They are all grade 7's so this is their first year.
Morning boys. Supposed to be a decent day here today. Sunny and a high of 14.
Had a good day of production yesterday even through the scattered rain showers, today should be a real good one and maybe get one 1/2 of the roof complete if we're really pushing!!
Good job on the sandblasting John. Morris, I hope you get a few more rides in on your summer toys!!
How's everything going there Aaron? Still schooling? Colin, improvements are positive and will turn to wins if they keep at it
The building I am hoping for is smallish, around 16x25, has a nice high ceiling though. I found one on kijiji, same brand, same building concept but its 40x60 and they're asking $7500 and it must be moved from its location. If you do simple math on it and compare the 16x25, it would make it worth around $12-1500 bucks. That would make me very happy!!
Have a great Thursday guys, another week almost done!

Oh it's going! Still in school yes, half way through classes #7 and #8 of the 10 I need to pre-qualify for the Levene MBA program at the U of R (because I didn't spend enough money on my engineering degree ). And all this is just so I can "apply" to the MBA program, but oh well... I actually really enjoy school.
Still working full-time, sometimes 50-60 hours a week + school on weekends and nights, so it's busy out here in Regina! But life is generally good.
Also finally getting deeper into my 1978/79 build. Buying/selling parts, researching mods, upgrades, planning my 351W engine build (finally).

Confirmed. Your math is correct Sherm. That larger building is worth $3.125 / sq-ft.
"Yours" (lets just assume ) would cost $1250 without moving costs.

How's everything in your life Sherm?
And how's everyone else doing?
I'll be interested in your 351w build and hope you tell all.
