Truck Dogs...
Hi Everyone,
I have to believe that a lot of you folks out there a dog people too. I've had quite a few in my time and they all liked riding in trucks.
About a year ago I lost my friend and pal, Trudy, a Rottweiler. It was as hard on me as loosing any person. About two months later I got Cyndi, a crazy little Rottweiler pup. She was just seven weeks old when we took her on a 600 mile trip to visit my son with our camper in tow. She is now almost a year old and in late March we did a 4,400 mile Round trip to deliver an airplane in my enclosed trailer to Phoenix, AZ.
Although I didn't think it was possible, Cyndi has a place in my heart just as Trudy did. We also have a fat little long haired dapple Dachshund named Trixie that also likes to go in the truck. She is really more my wife's dog but I do love her too.
I just thought I'd post a few pictures and I thought some of you folks might do the same.

Well heck, I've got to jump in on this thread. Here's Sophia on one of our return trips from Arizona hauling home an old wreck. She goes everywhere that truck goes. The wife is a Labrador breeder, trainer, AKC judge, and does Lab rescue. She's probably got at least a dozen or more here at all times. I have one.

It must be nice to have a well behaved dog. Cyndi is a bit rowdy at times. Hopefully she will grow out of her rowdy stage.

I don't think God allows you to have a Ford Truck without a Dog......
This is "Red" who we found lying near death on our property 6 years ago from malnutrition. We nursed him back to health and discovered he had been at one time, well cared for and highly trained.
He became State Certified as a "Therapy Dog" where my Wife would take him on the weekends to visit the terminally ill folks in Hospice. He is very gentle and would get up on the bed with them. He's retired now, and we have 3 other small Dogs but Red is the only Truck ridin Dog.
This shot was in my '67 Camper Special and we log a lot of miles together. His favorite moment is when I pass the egg-ranch and I open the rear slider so he can get a big nose full of chicken doo-doo.....

This is Tazz. He is a Boxer, many people think he is a pit but nope. Great dog loves the kids and they do as well. He likes to ride in the daily driver. When he was a pup i took him to a pet store to get him some food and i put him in first than went to the bed to put the 40lb bag in. When i came back to get in i moved him from the drivers seat so i could sit. Well you could say that i was not happy when i sat. I was not the only one that was pissed! (Pun intended)Good dog hes my buddy!
