Input shaft needed ... T-85 3spd + OD
Hey everyone ... I am having a very difficult time tracking down a particular part.
I need an input shaft for a Borg-Warner T-85 overdrive transmission. I have the transmission (came from an FTE member) but I believe it came out of a later truck. The shaft is 10 spline, but it is smaller diameter. The real problem is that it's about an inch too short. It'll never work.
What I need is the early Ford input shaft - 10 splines, 1 3/8" diameter. It needs to stick out of the transmission about 7". It also has 19 teeth inside the transmission.
One of you experts must have one lying around that you can sell me. If all you have is a whole trans that you don't want to pull apart, I will consider an entire exchange. Please help!

Check here to see if the input shaft is the same as the T10.
The t85 was the the daddy of the t10.
