You mean that the factory gauge never shows hot? It's actually nothing more than an idiot light with a needle and doesn't show much more than cold/normal/too late. You actually need something to accurately read temperatures (Scan Gauge II, Edge Insight) to determine what your problem might be.

Ok. Thx I'll look in to that today. When crack the cap a lot of air like pressure comes out. And I'm wondering if its not compressin sepping throw the gasget?

Also I cap both ends of the egr cooler.

Crack the cap on ANY car or truck on the radiator and all will vent pressure.....be VERY careful doing this. You will scald yourself!!!! Throw a rag over the cap if you attempt it at all......

The system is intended to be pressurized when hot - up to 16 psig or so.
