well if you take flashlight you can get under the truck and see both sides of the engine where trans is, you can see the Butt from the turbo with up pipes going in to it. so its should be clear if its from the engine cause one of the sides , and most likely will be a passenger side if any , thats where the drain hole for valley is.
it might be a turbo acctuator for the EBPV a lot of stock turbos leak there.
check your trans fluid see if its low, with this kind of oil loss you see a diference.
it might be loose fuel line on the back of the head, stock system has only one line on the back of the motor, pass side IIRC,
and thats where dipstic is for the trans, so if the leak is spreadding everywhere on one side of the motor get motor wormed up for a bit, spray plenty of Simple Green , use garden hose to wash it off after 5-10 min, repeat if necesery, and watch closely where it will start leaking again....
i'm pretty sure it's not oil...bout 96% sure actually. I'm really thinking its some kind of tranny leak but i'm not sure what's back there between the tranny and the x-fer case....

Check the bolts that holds the Tranny to X-Fer caxe for tightness. Check fluid in X-Fer case for level. Get an inspection mirror and look on top of tranny and see if you see anything and if you can tell how far foward it may be coming from. We have had a member or two have the transfer case bolts get loose to the point it wouldn't shift, but don't remember any saying anything about a leak.
Do you have another vehicle to drive? You could pull the dipstick tube and go find an O-ring the same size to see if that takes care of it. Unless there's a crack in the tube, the O-ring should fix you up.
