Where is a good place to look for an airbag kit for my 250 superduty.I want something that is adjustable from the drivers seat. The truck is fine by itself but when I hook the F'ver up it has a tendancy to lay down in the rear. What I'm looking for is a complete kit with compressor, bags, and whatever else is needed to complete the job.
I have a set of 5000# AirLift air bags on my F250. But I don't think you can buy a kit like you want for the 5000# air springs. I believe you will have to buy separate components & make it.
But check Summitracing.com or Jegs.com that is where mine came from & they have the best prices from my research. To go with lighter bags IMHO would be a waste. The bags are around $260 To go all auto your looking at, my guess is around $800. Is it that hard to air bags with an air hose when you are going to haul?
I just put on a set of Firestone Air bags, and in the instructions it says that you can get a compressor and kit that will adjust the air pressure from the cab.
i have the firestone bags ...rear kit was 270 and took about 1-2 hours to put in on laying in the driveway....the air compresor and guage kit was another 270.
I can raise and lower from the cab...

Not its not that hard to use a hose,About all I use this truck for is to haul my f'ver.I just like the added convience of not having to look for a hose. With cab control family and I can take camper somewhere and set it up ,dump the bags and use truck for exploring or whatever else ,and then air bags upwhen we are ready to hit the road.
Probably what I'll down is purchase components seperately and build system to suit my needs.

Where did you get your Firestone air bags from for $270? Just curious. I assume they are 5000#?
I guess I was off on my guess for a complete kit. More like $500.

they are the double (convoluted?) bags and i bought them from the firestone dealer in LV. and yes they are the 5000# ones.
I bought the bags that mount inboard of the springs, on top of the axel housing so you dont have to lose the overload spring.....also the new kit was designed so the top bracket will bolt throught my existing b&W turnover ball goose neck hitch....it woulda sucked to drill through the frame then another 1/4 " plate....
the same website has the compressor kit I bought....part # 2097...its list for 279.00 also,....comes with the Heavy Duty pump, single guage and relay, pump control and tubing.
