I found that the head gaskets and intake gaskets not acceptable.
I have ordered head gaskets EDL-7337.
Intake gaskets EDL-7224
The Edelbrock gaskets are vastly superior to what came in the sets.
If I were building a bone stock 360 or 390, I would use the Edelbrock gaskets and not the others.
Rockauto.com had the best prices, but Summit matched them.
The MrGasket intake is usually just black paper with silicone ring, which I've used before without any issues as I usually tack it down to the head to keep it in place while assembling. Can't recall what the Felpro number I used to run for head gasket(been too many years since I bought them)? I run a Cometic on the race car now, but used Felpro on my hot rods.
Even the Cometics I had to "massage" them to make them clear the valves. $160 gaskets and still had to make them "fit". Too many variations/combinations so they don't make a one-fits-all.

Very poor quality and fit. I also used MrGasket and Felpro over the years, but in these sets, the quality is very poor. Nothing stays the same it seems, either gets better or worse, in this case worse. Most companies have a good, better and best. These sets did not get up to the good level on the head gaskets and intake manifold gaskets.
The first clue, should have been that the complete Felpro engine gasket set cost $65.03, while the Edelbrock head gasket alone was $63.69
Ah....the "good" Felpro head gaskets are around $45/side(can't recall the part number? Will be there tomorrow, so I can look). That's what I used to pay, as now the Cometics are like $80/side! I hassled my machine shop about the fact the Felpro's worked fine for the last 13 yrs, why change? The Cometics are re-usable, so I guess that's a plus.
