inside rearview mirror options

anybody use a glass mount inside rearview mirror? with dim?

I closed the holes in the top surround in case I wanted to do this..
I don't have the seats in yet, but don't know what I want to do here.

some shiny thing I supposed.. manual dim is ok..

I had thought of one of the electric auto dim, compass, temp things, but they black and ugly.. does anyone notice..

but the stereo head unit I am using in the overhead console has active GPS mapping in it. So don't really need compass.. and in Texas, does it matter what level of HOT you have to deal with?

Talking Rear View...

Mornin' Sam...

Ya know...my Girl drives company vehicles home every day...all makes &

models of SUVs' & trucks' 2007-2009 & they ALL have those electronic

interior rear view mirrors that are bigger than my first apartment...

I was thinkin' about usin' one but nixed it mainly cause they are so damn

BIG every time we go somewhere I can't even get my handicap parking

plackard hooked on the stupid mirror or the monster wiring harness...

Besides...don't want to take away from a GREAT lookin' truck ..right...

Just my $.02...
