I paid 400 for my 91, I cant member what for my 89, but that was in 97 or 98, and its long since paid itself off.

My math skills aren't that great either but 400 is a BIGGER number then 300

Well yes 100 bucks more, but just cause you got one for 300 doesnt mean eveyone finds them to work on for that price
To get an old truck in the same shape with little needed "playing around" type repairs usually costs more cash then 400 bucks.
Some people just get lucky.

semi black is nice but everyone is doing that color, I think a flat colored primer is boss

if i get a flat i would have to spend the big bucks on a two stage because with a normal primer dirt and other gunks gets into the paint and makes it looks junky, where as a "semi flat" i can take a normal single or double stage gloss black and just add some flattening agent to it.

Personally I like shiney. Out of your two options I would go the satin black look. It does look pretty nice.
I never have been a huge fan of the flat blacks.

found some rare factory ford 5 slot aluminum mags today also..
comes with a free 1979 bronco attached to them.
anyone needs parts? i just want the rims
