he is pretty firm on the price.
good call on the engine being overheated. that didnt even cross my mind.
if the price was lower it would be in my driveway.
the new box on the older style, i dont mind it. to the average person the wouldnt even know but i still prefer a fleetside.
I use to know where there was a 6ft fleetside. not even rusted. But would need some TLC, but that was 10 years ago. Who knows if it is still sitting in the trees on the frame still there or hauled in and crushed.
If the whole frame was there, a guy could very easy find a cab and whatnot to put on the front and make a truck outta it. Might be wroth checking into Glen!
Sweet looking truck and a real nice colour, too bad the frame has been altered, definitely worth while having it check out before you buy to save headaches later.
From the looks off it I`d say the cab corner (corners) was filled with bondo over rust, not properly fixed so expect problems there. Usually if you spot some rust there`s alot more that you can`t see or was hidden with filler and the newer paint job.
The Truck box I saw was with a supercab. as they called the extended cabs then. So the frame will be a bit long. It is located straight south of Clavet, but not clearly visable from the road.
Owner of the land at the time was an R Heuchert. I do not recall the first name. I use to have the RM of Blucher map, but not any more to look up where it is. It is a white truck and box. It was pretty gutted. no front clip or doors or motor and such. Just frame cab and box.
I'm not heading that way any time soon or near future right now. I use to like going for country cruises, but the cheap gas is hurting that.
